Debbe Meyers-Bourgoin, R.D., Director of Living Fit Center, is a registered dietitian with over 20 years experience in nutrition therapy, risk reduction services, and business management. She also has been specializing in the field of obesity treatment for over 15 years. As a registered dietitian, Debbe provides pre and post bariatric surgery nutrition counseling to the clients of eleven bariatric surgeons in the South Jersey area. The bariatric surgery patient is taught the specific “how to’s” of weight loss, including easy ways to lower dietary fat and calories, plus strategies to build physical activity into the daily routine. Individualized coaching is given to support the development of healthier weight management skills.

- HRA (Health Risk Appraisal)* Pre & Post Surgery The HRA is an assessment of the individual’s health risks looking at medical and lifestyle risk factors. It identifies the simplest changes a person can make in their lifestyle to have the greatest overall impact on health and longevity. The HRA is repeated at one year post-surgery to compare to the initial assessment.
